What's my background?

I’m a Korean American designer who has lived across South Korea, Texas, California, and now New York City. I have a background in fine arts and photography, which shaped my eye for color, layout, and illustration. I’ve been working as a digital designer for four years, beginning in my freshman year at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

What does my design process look like?

I start by gathering inspiration, keeping an open mind and exploring a wide range of references to build mood boards. From there, I narrow down the strongest direction and begin sketching by hand using pencil and paper before refining and polishing the designs digitally.

What are my experience?

I began my professional experience as a brand design intern at PepsiCo, contributing to work for Lay’s, Cheetos, and Bubly.
