What's my background?
I am a Korean American designer that's from all over the place: South Korea, Texas, California, and now currently in New York City! I have a background in Fine Arts and Photography, which is where my eye for color, layout, and illustration skills come from. I've been a digital designer for 4 years, starting from my freshan year at Fashion Institute of Technology.
What does my design process look like?
I first go on the hunt for inspiration. I like to keep an open mind for all the possibilities and go as wide as I can to come up with moodboards. Then, I pick the best fit and narrow down the options from there. I dive straight in with a pencil and a piece of paper before polishing the designs digitally!
What are my experience?
I've had my very first internship at PepsiCo as a brand designer, working with Lays, Cheetos, and Bubly!
